# Forms

> Define a form in code, connect it to your site, and review submissions in Studio.

Your coding agent defines each form in the repository. Fimo generates the validation and submission helpers, then your teammates review responses in Studio.

## Add a form

**1. Create the form definition**

Add `src/forms/contact.json`. Use a kebab-case filename for names with more than one word, such as `contact-us.json`.

**2. Register the form**

```bash theme={null}
fimo forms push contact
```

Fimo writes the form ID back to the JSON definition and generates the application helper.

**3. Build the form UI**

Ask your coding agent to load the `fimo-code` forms reference and use the generated module. The application still owns the fields, layout, error messages, and success state.

**4. Check it**

```bash theme={null}
fimo validate
```

## Manage forms

```bash theme={null}
fimo forms list
fimo forms get contact
fimo forms submissions list contact
fimo forms submissions list contact --cursor <next-cursor>
fimo forms submissions list contact --all-pages
fimo forms submissions delete contact <submission-id>
```

Open **Content → Forms** in Studio to review submissions without using the CLI.

Submission lists return `nextCursor` when another page exists. The older `--offset` flag remains accepted for existing scripts.

> [!WARNING]
>
> `fimo forms submissions delete` removes one submission permanently and does not prompt for confirmation. There is no
> undo and no bulk delete. Deleting a form definition does not delete its submissions.

For submission filters and every command option, see the [CLI reference](/docs/reference/cli.md). Your coding agent gets the field types from the `fimo-code` forms reference.
