How it works
1
Enter your site address
Type your address on fimo.ai, then sign up or sign in. Fimo checks your address and opens the
onboarding chat without showing the address form again. You can also select Create site in Fimo Studio and enter
it there. If you sign up without an address, Fimo asks for it first. Fimo checks that the site answers before
anything else happens. A site that cannot be read, such as one behind a bot check, is explained on the spot, and you
can correct the address.
2
Answer a few questions
Fimo reads your homepage, works out what kind of site it is (a business, a non-profit, a portfolio, a hobby or a
personal site), and asks a few questions that fit it in a short chat. It always starts by showing what it
understood, for you to confirm. A business then keeps or adds its main competitors, says how it stands out, and says
how its prices compare to those competitors. Other sites say what visitors should do and what to put forward,
picking from suggestions written for the site or typing their own. Your answers are saved as your site’s
knowledge, which Fimo’s agents use in every chat. You can edit it there
at any time.
3
Read your report
Right after your last answer, Fimo scans your homepage and shows its score in the chat. Select View full report
for the details. It scores your homepage for search engines (SEO) and for AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude and
Perplexity (GEO). Every check says what Fimo found and what to fix: robots.txt, sitemap, AI crawler access,
llms.txt, server rendering, meta tags, structured data, content and speed. The same homepage always gets the same
scores. A few minutes later, the report also compares you with your competitors: your average Google position next
to theirs on the searches your buyers make, and how often AI assistants recommend you and each of them when asked
those searches. To keep the report or send it to someone, select Export in the full report, then Image (PNG)
or Web page (HTML). The file holds every check, opened. On a phone, it opens your share sheet.
4
Rebuild and fix your homepage
Select Rebuild and fix my homepage, under your score. Fimo rebuilds your homepage in the new site and shows each
step of the work while it runs. Your current site does not change, and nothing goes online until you publish. You
can leave and come back to it later: until someone opens the new site from the chat, opening the site brings every
member back here. Members without full access wait until someone with full access opens it. When it finishes, the
chat shows your new SEO & GEO score: your report, updated with the checks Fimo fixed. Select View full report to
see what each fix changed, then See my new homepage to open your new site. If the rebuild cannot finish, the
chat says so; select Open my project to try again from your site. Every text and link of the new homepage is
content you can edit, and its images are in your media library, in a folder
named after your site.
Good to know
- The analysis and the rebuild cover your homepage only. Links to your other pages still go to your current site. Ask Fimo in the chat to bring over the rest of your site.
- Fimo does not rebuild sites that break its terms of use. If your site is refused by mistake, contact support.
- Your first two homepage rebuilds are free. After that, a rebuild uses your credits.
- The new site counts toward your plan’s sites. When you are at your limit, Fimo offers to upgrade and keeps your address for when you are ready.
- Your report and the copy of your homepage that Fimo read are deleted after 30 days. Export the report to keep it. Your rebuilt homepage stays in your new site: if you come back after that, select See my new homepage to open it.
- Prefer to work with your own AI? Below the address field, select Build with ChatGPT, Claude or a coding agent. It gives you a prompt that starts from your code, a website to rebuild or redesign, or a new idea, and builds the site with you in ChatGPT, Claude or your coding agent. Nothing is created until your AI creates the site. See the Quickstart and ChatGPT and Claude.
